I believe optimal wellness is about feeling healthy on a daily basis, having a sense of control over your life, recognizing when to slow down when the world seems to be moving too fast, being connected with nurturing people around you, and taking the time to unplug and escape into nature. It's about caring about your work, your children, your partner, your family, but most importantly, caring about yourself. Lifestyle coaching helps an individual recognize areas in their life that could be improved by viewing situations differently and making different, albeit healthier, choices. By unpacking and discussing various triggers, expectations, values and obstacles, people gain more self awareness and thus control over their psychological life which enable them to manage other areas more confidently, efficiently and happily.
Optimal Wellness - balance - happiness is an on-going life process, and does not come to an end once you achieve a certain bodyweight, reach a certain physical dimension, accumulate materials, products, or other 'things', nor is it when you achieve a certain title or status; it is a broader, more intrinsic, continual and evolving understanding and awareness of who you are, what makes you happy, and what you want in life. It is through the positive choices we make each and every day to fuel our mind, our body, and our soul that allow us to live the best life that we can possibly live.

A face to face meeting where Client describes current challenges and struggles in their life. Together Client and Coach address how negative habits are impacting their ability to be healthy and achieve wellness and discuss objectives and goals for subsequent sessions. Client is given materials to view, read, and/or fill out upon next appt.
Based on consultation or previous appt, Client and Coach review homework and begin/continue process of change.
